Wednesday in Dupont

Terri is running in the Dupont Half Marathon this weekend so I decided to start my ride from Guion Farm where the race will be starting and I followed the course over to Fawn Lake so I could refresh myself as to what she should expect. We've skipped Spring and gone straight to Summer and once again we had a good turnout. Long gone are the days when it was just me and Jonathon standing in a parking lot full of slush (did we really do that? what were we thinking?).

The group split up right away and would then merge back together again. I was in the lead coming down to the Little River crossing on Corn Mill Shoals and took a quick look at the line and went straight across without even thinking about it. Easy enough.

My route was:

Buck Forest > Conservation > Lake Julia > Camp Summit > Conservation > Fawn lake Loop > Mine > Laurel Ridge > Shoals > Corn Mill Shoals > Burnt Mtn > Corn Mill Shoals > Longside > Pine Tree > Staton > Buck Forest > Lake Imaging > Locust > Isaac Heath > Jim Branch > Buck Forest > Thomas Cemetery > Buck Forest
